Dale Harris, Sr. Pastor
I was saved at the age of 26 in Burkburnett, Texas during
a revival at Central Baptist in 1987. I had grown up in a Christian home
from the time of about 7 years old and made a profession of faith during this
time, but had never really been saved. There was immediate change in my life
because of God's wonderful grace and I started to slowly grow in the Lord
and see the need to faithfully serve Him while growing in His Word. In 1990
after God had brought us to Liberty Baptist Church
in Wichita Falls, Texas, we began to serve the Lord faithfully and teach
Sunday School and involve ourselves in the ministries of the Church. It was
during this time that God called me to preach His Holy Word. After several
years of preaching in Jr. Church and rest homes I realized God wanted me to
step out by faith and attend Bible college and prepare for full-time
ministry. In July of 1998, my wife, children and I moved to Alvarado, Texas
where we lived until God allowed me to graduate from Norris Bible Baptist
Seminary in May of 2003. The call for a youth pastor brought me to Grace
Baptist Church in October of 2002 where God would call me to pastorate in
March of 2003. We have been at Grace Baptist now for 4 years and praise Him
for what He has done. I am blessed to have a beautiful wife of 25 Years (Cheryl) who has been an inspiration to me with her love and prayers and
thank God for her daily. The Lord also blessed us with 2 beautiful children
who love the Lord and serve Him faithfully.
